What happens when you have total control of a capsule on Asia’s largest Ferris wheel, the Singapore Flyer? What would you do?
For Air France, it was the opportunity to bring their brand new ‘La Première’ to Singaporeans. By refitting a capsule on Asia’s largest Ferris wheel, the Singapore Flyer with its new ‘La Première’ suite, Air France recreated the full flying experience for guests.
The experience started when guests were picked up by an Air France limousine and were escorted to the First Class lounge by beautiful flight attendants. Guests were then ushered to the capsule housing the ‘La Première’ suite complete with a plush and comfortable seat that fully transforms into a flat bed. The suite is decked with hidden drawers to store one’s valuables from gadgets to coats, a footrest that also doubles as a compartment, two television screens to provide entertainment, and other sleek and refreshing features.
The half an hour ‘in-flight’ experience would not be complete without an assortment of scrumptious canapés – Creme Fromage Profiteroles, Candies orange Vol au Vent and Fruit Coulis – and delicious entrees appropriate for the taste of the affluent – Seared Scallop, Asparagus Puree, Sauteed Morels and Tomato Concasse, suitably paired with a crisp, balanced and nice-tasting French champagne, Billecart Salmon Brut Cuvee Nicolas Francois Billecart 1999.
As competition for the best flight experience grows, Air France has taken things a step further in redefining the French luxury travel experience by creatively engaging their customers, with additional activations in Singapore and China.
